Gyaaaboooo!!! MUKYA!!!!

So i finished all 23 episodes of Nodame Cantabile in about 3 days. It was wonderful. Truly one of the most beautiful series i have ever seen. Good anime is anime that makes you tear up outside and inside. It was inspiring, and i found myself actually practicing piano for awhile.

Now, back to real life. I have this friendship complex/conflict going on this summer. I'm still trying to figure out who my real friends are. Its been weird, strange and troublesome, but...I think I'm getting closer. Im like drifting from people though, that i thought were my real friends. College sounds a little lonely.

Anyhow...Just a moment ago i was sitting at sonic's with....friends! It was fun, fresh and we were going to prance around wal-mart at 1 in the morning until i got a phone call from my fairy godmother saying "get your behind home!" just for that...i literally posed for it. =]. pictures on facebook.

Myspace or facebook....i can't figure out which one i like. I equally check them both, but i don't really....interact.

Goodnight.

workaholic

i'm getting sick of working.

Well today was a blast...

Yay! Swimming again! It was pretty cool. Freakin Vo found a 4-leaf clover. pisses me off so much. I WANT A 4-LEAF CLOVER. That was one of my summer goals...oh well. the pool today was fun. it was fun until i puked playing chicken fight. note to self: don't eat too much while swimming. you get nausea. bad nausea. need not to describe any further.

anyway, this summer, i find it very refreshing.

1) i am not angry at a particular person [that i usually get very angry at during the summer]
2) i'm chillin and getting to know people more
3) i feel at ease.

A good summer so far. I hope we can all enjoy 4th of july or something =D. Going for a swim is fun. I think alot of us will be majorly busy a few weeks from now. I want to go to Hong Kong maybe, but i dont' know if that will happen. One thing i haven't done this summer is play tennis! Wow. Amazing =O. its almost surreal. But hell week for me is in for work. Every single day. I'm going to get tired of it for sure.

I want to do something really cool, like what carmen did on her myspace blog and just post about people. gordon has done this too once. i think its fun. Like a sort of, "Guess who you are." kind of thing when i talk about you. haha. but i'll do that later.

this post has amazingly taken way too long to write...good night.

oh come on, DIY you bastards!

Society has really got me annoyed now. i mean, gosh, we live in a seemingly well, and peaceful neighborhood. Except we got robbed. This morning, while my father took me to school, it was just a less than 15 minute drive, our lawn mower and weed whacker was stolen. Yes.

a lawn mower.

a weed whacker.

who stole it you think? I hate to be racist, but you draw your own conclusions dear. Part of the blame would be us, who forgot to shut the garage door. but in a mere 15 minutes these lovely lawn goodies disappear without a trace. i kind of wish i could catch the culprit so i can personally laugh in their face at how pitiful they are. if they wanted our lawnmower so bad, they could have asked us at least. We were getting ready to buy a new one anyway. If they waited it'd be on the sidewalk to be thrown away. They could've sifted it then. that thing was 20 something years old. it was about to break down. i'm thinking it'll last them about 3 months before it dies. Oh, but yes, they're crafty these people. If they're smart enough, they can reuse unbroken parts! goodie!

Which brings me on to complain about society. It bothers me, the fact that someone had enough guts to barge into a stranger's home and take something that did not belong to them. It really does bother me. Because they could've went into our home. That is what bothers me the most. Everyone was sleeping, they could've been killed. or worse. Why can't people just, you know, not do such pitiful things? i mean, if they were to steal something, they could've stolen something better. its kind of sad.
i'm not crazy, but...sometimes i think if we could just get rid of these kinds of people, the world would be a better place. We don't need idiots tainting and oppressing the lives of others. Rid the world of criminals to create a utopia.... haha. Gee...i think Death Note is starting to get to me.

I wish there was a law that for stealing, they'd cut off your hands. a rather bitter punishment, but...it worked. i seriously cannot understand the impulse of stealing. klepto anyone? why do people do it, and why would they have to? can't they just provide for themselves?

Anyhow, im going to laugh if we get a post at our door offering free lawn service, or discounted service.

So it didn't work (that well)

so the guys over at hackzine says bread can help remove crayon marks on walls... i decided to investigate and try, and to my dismay i learned several things about trying random things:

1) don't ruin things intentionally in hopes that the claim truly works.
2) red was the worst color to pick for a white wall
3) get a vacuum. bits of bread end up on the floor =/.

now questions to ask yourself:

+ would stale bread work better?
+ maybe more elbow grease?
+ am i wasting my time?

haha, but here we go:

2. Mark the wall.

3. attempt to eradicate!

4. its okay i guess. its more apparent in real life. the picture was blurry =/

Results: an angry mother asking "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO MY WALLS?!"
and a blog post.

good night.

Wow, i did alot today...

So, I've been obsessed with this one kind of cake, called "ma lai gau", which is a cantonese sponge milky cake that tastes...really good. i've been trying to imitate that flavour, but so far every cake that i've made has been a complete mess. i'll post pictures later, along with the recipe.

i also made an apple pie tonight. wow, i'm being very productive.

OKAY, so onto anime!

Today i watched Darker than Black 02. I saw the first ep the other day, so i'll make this one a double post. I still havent' blogged all the other animes. i think i'll just do like first impressions and then reviews, because i dont' like blogging every episode.

Darker than Black: I think i really like this show. it seems really shallow so far and a little bland, but im curious about the main character. he's got like split personality disorder or something. Very interesting, and thats the only thing keeping me goin'. i'm like obsessed with this one. its my new favorite this season. So what am i keeping up with so far? the list is getting bigger so im happy =).

NANA
Kekkaishi
Shounen Onmyouji
Darker than Black
Jigoku Shoujo Futokumori

my heart goes out to those who have passed away today in that fatal incident...at Virginia Tech. It was a sad tragedy that i hope no one i know will ever have to experience in the near future. my prayers go out to the fallen.

i'll edit this later...
x//edit:

Okay! So its thursday, and i am not really being productive as i have friends over for a project and im not doing much but blogging on the internet. I haven't done much lately but thats okay. Wow...i wish my friends logged onto blogger often. Oh well. I love blogger! its so much easier and simpler. I got sick of xanga cuz i was being stalked by this one chick that really annoyed the hell out of me. i wonder if she will find my blogger one day. that will be scary. and i think that would suck. Anyway...i haven't done much else with my life lately. Okay i think i have written enough and i have to go.

shouldn't i be sleeping?

yes...i should....and i am not! oh well, looks like im gonna fall asleep in class again. i wonder what i am going to do tomorrow. this week has been...really easy lately, and its a little creepy. anyhow, i wanted to write a little bit about life in general.

when we reach a certain age, i think we go through...despair...what was it? it was on some psychological scale that after our 50s, we as humans go through a period of time when our mindsets are thinking about our past, regrets, and despair. death looms around the corner. isn't that depressing?

only to read this one essay in english today about a man who worked so hard that he didn't really interact with the relationships around him and pretty much died alone almost...well, he did have family...the author didn't fail to mention he died from a heart attack at the age of 53. i think. now that is depressing...because she mentions also that his "dearly beloved" son had to research his father through their neighbors to figure out what kind of person he was like. now that is taking life for granted almost. i hope i dont' speed through life like that. i almost feel like that is my final route to doom.

life...

tamago kake gohan

Yet another post on a wednesday. (oh my, i believe my frustrations stem during the middle of the week). I'm stemming away from anime in this post...as i am beginning to feel more and more disinterested in it. Well, i'm a little late compared to other bloggers, but i went through a marathon of watching "Jigoku Shoujo" which i enjoyed very much. I'm still a little emotionally hit from my grandfather's stay in the hospital, and i pray for his recovery. Hopefully he will be home with us soon.

Anyhow, this post will consist of...What's for dinner tonight? =D.

Tonight i will be making "Tamago Kake Gohan" which is literally Egg Rice mixed with Soy Sauce. Sounds tasty no? Yeah...actually its a raw egg mixed with soy sauce. i put other things in my bowl like dumplings and vietnamese pork. my only hope is that i do not get a stomache ache, and i pray i don't get salmonella. pray for me please. cuz i am deathly afraid of throwing up, but i really wanted to try it...^^;

what a slow anime season...

I think im going to get bored to death with anime. I used to watch so many, but now im only following 2 series!

At least, Naruto and Bleach have FINALLY come back to the manga storyline. So there are no more fillers! I'm very glad, about that, and I'm getting the latest Naruto and Bleach as of now! =D

This Winter 2007 season has been dragging so slowly, I hope that the Spring 2007 Season invites better shows.

Death Note for one, has gone down hill for me. I just stopped watching after episode 9 because it just got...predictable. I'd say if you haven't finished the manga, go ahead and watch it, but if you have read all of it, there's no fun if you know whats going to happen.

D.Gray Man too. It was captivating at the beginning, but then i just lost the interest to keep watching it after the filler episode 8. I am, although, keeping up with the manga.

Nana is probably the only series so far that I am following closely. It's been released up to episode 34 so far for subs, and surprisingly its not dragging out that bad yet. Every episode is that good!

Shounen Onmyouji is good. I heard that it started out as a novel at the beginning, but they adapted it into an anime. I want to read the novels, or I am praying they get translated to english someday. The anime itself is not so bad either. Character designs are so-so, (they kind of remind me of Houshin Engi x Inuyasha).

What else have I been following? Oh! That's actually it. Majority of the other anime just doesn't appeal to me. Alot of them are like just fanservice crap. Anyone have any recommendations? I want something with a good storyline, and less fluff, please!

I've got alot of things i need to finish, but this shouldn't be one of them.

....and i sit here and wonder why i am blogging at a time like this! i've decided to give blogger a try, because i feel like this will be the best format to start manga blogging. Here are some titles i want to blog in the near future:

+Goong [ Palace ]
+Vampire Knight
+Fruits Basket
+Bokura ga Ita [ We Were There ]

Some Animes i want to start blogging would probably be:

+Honey and Clover
+Nana
+Shounen Onmyouji

and i'll just keep adding as time goes on! i don't know if i'll stick to this, but i hope to.
